Environment: International Fund for Animal Welfare
The International Fund for Animal Welfare began as an effort to stop a hunt for white-coat harp seals on the eastern coast of Canada. In the three decades since, the IFAW has become increasingly sophisticated in its analysis of the shared interests and the need for coexistence between human and animals. The site affords visitors the opportunity to learn about the organization's work, read its annual reports, and find out more about its various campaigns around the world. For specifics on the problem, browse the list of endangered animals in the "Save Animals" section. <http://www.ifaw.org/ifaw/general/default.aspx>
