Just about the only group in our society to actively fight to protect our civil liberties from assault by the Bush administration under the guise of fighting terrorism, aside from professional civil libertarians like the ACLU and the Electronic Frontier Foundation, have been librarians. This site offers "resources to librarians who want to be active in political and social issues surrounding libraries and librarianship" and aims to help publicize "the efforts of librarians and their friends in raising public awareness."
